I have really enjoyed this book so far. It's full of great information for those who are truly serious about inventing. Mr. Docie does a tremendous job in sharing the potential obstacles and solutions associated with the subject. Mr. Docie has alot of knowledge and one would be foolish not to have this tool as a resource.It's a very small investment compared to the thousands of dollars you could lose if you decide to pursue your "brilliant idea" blindly.

This book is well worth reading. It covers a variety of topics and presents realistic information in a well organized manner. At times it had me wondering why I would ever want to pursue an invention because it does such an excellent job of illustrating the complexities that lie ahead. It is geared more towards licensing an idea as opposed to bringing it to market but is worth the read whatever you are considering. It is a fast read too and does not bog down with a lot of unrelated tangents.

Reading this book was more discouraging than anything else I've ever encountered. It is a sobering reality check -kinda like telling your 7 year old kid that he's never really going to be an astronaut. The author makes everything sound soooo terribly difficult!

I've now recovered from reading the book and am just going to go for it on my own. I do not recommend this book to anyone -the info is not worth his powerful dissuasion tactics.

Does this guy want to be the only inventor in the world or something? What is his problem?
