Customer Reviews:Average Customer Rating: Great PMP Exam Resource I recently passed the PMP Exam. I highly recommend this book for the exam review. I read the Kim Wiley examp prep first, then followed up reading this book twice and working all the practice exam questions over and over again. I didn't read the PMBOK guide at all, I believe all the material I needed was in the two books I reviewed. The practice exam questions in Crowe's book were the best I found, they are very similar to what I saw on the exam. The only book you need to pass pmp Great book with lots of simplicity. This is all you need to pass the exam. Excellent Reviewer This book really did wonders for me during my review. It helped me better understand the concepts rather than just doing memorization. This book is also packed with lots of usefull tips and methods to pass the exam. I highly recommend this book if you are planning to take the exam and if you combine with a prepcast tool, chances are you will pass the exam on your first. I know that because I did. Good book for easy reading Initially, I was having trouble understanding PMBOK. I felt as if there were some pieces missing to the puzzle. Andy Crowe explains PMI framework in a very easy language. The book also gives you an important topics to concentrate on. The reason I haven't given this book more stars because I also read Rita Mulcahy's sixth edition. Rita's book is more thorough, explains in-depth and there's lots to learn from her book. Andy's book elaborates PMBOK guide but Rita's book puts you in a shoes of a PM who is managing large million dollars, muti-national company project. I used Rita's book heavily but I passed the exam by reading both these books apart from PMBOK. Great Tool for understanding the PMP process This is a great resource for anyone wanting to pass the PMP. I just passed the PMP yesterday with using this book as my main source of study material. It helped me develop a clear "mental picture" of the Project Management processes. | | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
