So far so good. what i liked most about this, was the PRICE... Everyone in my class paid almost full price for the new edition.. Thanks to Amazon & the seller I was able to get a new book at a very DECENT price.

I took an Org Theory & Design class while an undergraduate business student. I am now using Daft's book while pursuing my master's. I still have the old material from undergrad and Daft has almost all the same content, but put in simpler language. I think that Daft does very well in the order he introduces the content and makes it very easy to read. This is not usually the case with org design literature in the academic realm. I would recommend Daft over the other org theory and design textbooks I have used.

Book is good, and author does a good job of integrating cases and interesting information. It is of course a text book so it is not the most interesting book I have ever read, but for a textbook it isn't bad. In the class I am taking, the teacher treats this book like a Bible so it definitely comes in handy.

I purchased this book for a graduate class in I/O Psychology. The information is very useful to the economic climate today. I was told that this is a must-read for MBA students.
