The text is good for review, however the text book is too bulky to carry around. The CD that contains the flash cards does not permit a download to take the cards with you. You also cannot download flashcards to Blackberry or Ipod. Very limited usage.

I recieved this book within the window time they gave me, but it came the within the last couple days of the window time. Of course, I wanted it sooner than later, but I did get it within the 3 weeks they said I would.

Great resource to review for the PHR/SPHR exam. Very thorough with solid up-to-date information. I would highly recommend to those sitting for the exam.

This Book Isn't Enough

I just passed the PHR exam June 2009. However, I cannot completely credit this book with passing. Luckily my work had online tutorials that really helped me learn the concepts and terminology. The book has good information but it doesn't explain things enough so that you will really understand it to answer questions. The exam questions did NOT look like the assessment questions or chapter review questions in the book. I highly recommend that in addition to this book, you study out of at least another 2. Good luck!
