I can't believe I didn't write a review on this book before. I first read a translated version in my native language; then I immediately bought the second edition when I came to the US. As a student, I moved out 5 times, dragging myself through 3 cities but I still keep it. I sold most of my textbooks and self-help stuff but this one. It's fun, inspiring and very helpful.

I got this book for just a few dollars, the school books store was charging A LOT more. It got to my house within 3 days and it is brand new.

Reading "How to Get Ideas" will help you unlock at least a portion of the rest.

It is at once a very easy read, filled with funny anecdotes, and also a serious primer on how to foster creative thinking.

Read it now and then read it again every few months. Your ideas will thank you.

It is easy to read, the chapters are well organized, and you will enjoy every single page.

This book is an easy read with short chapters and many memorable stories. It was put together well. As with any self help books, you have to make permanent changes to your persona to realize the benefits of the suggestions which can be difficult. If you are a natural upbeat, optomistic idea person, this can help. If you are not an idea person, I doubt you could make the permanent personality changes to become one.
