Customer Reviews:Average Customer Rating: Why changing your questions will not help changing your life? Did I get your attention! That's the power of question. About this book...this book did not do for me. I was expecting that the title would cover `rephrasing or framing questions' to make them smart; but it didn't. Unfortunately, the real corporate life is more complex than what is depicted in this book. This book may be a good reference for someone who needs some help in interpersonal skills development. If you already know how to work with people, then this book does not provide much insight. Excellent This excellent book open the eyes to a new approach in life. It is very helpful for changing your paradigm. Meaningful, clear and useful As a Norwegian, not used to using the big words, the style of american books can be perceived as somewhat noisy and annoying at times. This book is not among the worst, however, and through it all the author manages to convey a powerful message: Through mindful work it IS possible to change crabby habits of mind into more constructive ones. I think this book gives some good tools for making such transformations. Great Book, Fun to Read, Priceless Lessons This book's simple message has profound implications. No matter roles you play - parent, manager, CEO, friend, spouse - your questions influence your ability to respond to the challenges around you and build effective relationships. Marilee Adams provides a path to the questions that lead to the experiences we all desire. The Power of Choice Change Your Questions, Change Your Life provides powerful life lessons told in a relatable story. It effectively captures the impact and power of asking questions that open the door to understanding, new ideas, broader concepts, possibilities and innovation. It provides a process for recognizing communication pitfalls and a way to navigate back to healthy and meaningful dialogue. As a Life Coach, it is questions that lay the groundwork for revelations and breakthroughs for clients. This book provides insightful questions and highlights the many opportunities we have to make productive choices in our day to day lives. Marilee has done an outstanding job providing a framework for the path to chose or react. It is simply written, but its impact is tremendous. I would highly recommend it to clients and Coaches. | | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
