Customer Reviews:Average Customer Rating: Awesome I absolutely love this book. I have it ridden with bookmarks and highlights. The Author is very good at describing steps and has a great sense of humor mixed in as well! I recommend this book! Pedagogic step by step book I think this book is great if you are a bit more advanced than beginner in Photoshop. You do not have to know a lot to understand and follow these instructions, yet it is not only basic tricks. Chatty writer too with many lame jokes, which is good if you are easily bored by software books :-) Great Tool for Post Processing As a self taught Photoshop user, it seems like I have a world to learn. I have purchased several Photoshop books and an online course with limited success. This one book has done more to help me improve my skills than any other resource. It is not designed for the beginner, but someone who has a foundation of photoshop skills and wants to expand their reach. I really appreciate how Scott Kelby offers multiple digital post processing solutions via Photoshop techniques. I routinely reach for this book and highly recommend it. WOW!!!!! GET THIS BOOK NOW!!!! I can't say enough great things about this book to do it justice. I love this book. I have had CS2 for a while, but it might as well have been Elements 1 for the good it was doing me (by the way, I don't even know how to work Elements, or if there is even an Elements 1!). Anyway, this book is so straight forward, you don't need to know anything beforehand. For each procedure, it talks you through it step by step. What I loved about this book was that it didn't assume you already knew stuff, it just told you "do this and that and click this and click that", with tons of pictures to help you along. I recommend this book IMMENSELY!!! Scott Kelby gets right to it Scott Kelby gets right to it. You quickly learn the most important lessons and uses of Photoshop from a photographer's perspective. | | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
