This book is a superb one-book read on how the EOS 50D works and how to use it's special features. The book is filled with excellent pictures and contains a great section on exposure methods.

Finding a good book on a specific camera isn't easy. I looked at many and ordered this one. I was pleasantly surprised by how well this book was put together. All photos are in color and the quality of the printing and the paper (I'm a graphic designer) are great. As for the author this guy is a veteran and an expert in his field who knows how to explain the subject matter so that it is quickly and painlessly assimilated. The book also covers lenses and other topics that other books don't! I highly recommend this volume to anyone needing a solid manual to accompany your 50D.

This book is very readable, easy to understand, good illustrations. Sometimes it's over-simplistic but this is easy to overlook given how much information is here.

This is a must have for those new to the Canon EOS line. The manual that comes with the camera is too cryptic and this book provides good illustrations and a short explanation of each of the myriad functions on the 50D. It is also useful for older models although they lack some of the new features and there are slight differences in location of buttons, etc.

Originally I ordered the wrong book. I checked to see if they had the 50D book and could I swap my mistake for the 50D book. They said no problem, just return the wrong merchandise and they would return my original mayment. And they did. As for the 50D book it has been greeat help to me in mastering the camera. I will be using it for a while as the camera has so many features. Very detailed instructions.
