Their book became an immediate #1 New York Times bestseller, propelling a powerful grassroots tax reform movement that's spreading like wildfire across our nation. Now, three years later, the authors are back to answer the outspoken and misinformed critics of their innovative proposal. Offering eye-opening new insights not covered in the original book, FairTax: The Truth debunks the negative myths and gross misrepresentations of this groundbreaking idea. The FairTax plan is simple, brilliant, and it will workâenabling you to keep all the money in your paycheck; eliminating the fraud, hassle, and waste of our current system; and revolutionizing the way America pays for itself. | Average Customer Rating: A Must Read for All Americans This book is a solution to many of the problems facing America. A positive cause we can all get behind. Fair Tax : Great idea that is probably not going to happen This is a good book about a great idea that will probably never come to pass. After the 1st book, you had questions - this answers them! If you've read the first book by Neal Boortz et al (The FairTax Book: Saying Goodbye to the Income Tax and the IRS), you will likely have at least 1 or 2 questions regarding the FairTax. This book will answers those questions, as well as some others you didn't even think to ask (but were glad they are answered here as well).
Caution: Once you read these books, you too will likely become a FairTax evangelist. (Did you ever think you'd find taxes to be an interesting topic of discussion, and not just frustration?) How American can save this country from total diaster and bankruptucy This is the ONLY way we can stop Amerians from cheating and/or "forgetting" to pay their income tax. Instead of saying "tax the rich" the tax is actually less, and the people who HAVE the money will be the one who are paying the taxes and thus supporting the country. Informative and fun If you want to think seriously about our nation's tax policy, this book is for you. It is serious stuff written in a fun, very readable way.
Hopefully you will read this and come to see the insanity and the unfairness of our present income and payroll tax system and become a supporter of the Fair Tax. | |
